We're not accepting money yet — but there's plenty you can do that costs nothing and matters just as much.
- Volunteer at a workshop. Engineers, designers, and educators — get in touch and we'll pair you with a session.
- Bring Program-It to your community. Schools, churches, and community organizations — reach out to host a workshop for kids in your neighborhood.
- Share our story. Send this site to one person who cares about kids and technology. That's how nonprofits grow before they can pay for ads.
What your dollars will fund (when we can accept them)
Every dollar donated goes directly to Program-It:
- Workshop space, laptops, and materials
- Snacks, T-shirts, and small kits kids take home
- Volunteer stipends when we scale to multiple sites
- Curriculum development for future programs
We'll publish an annual impact report starting the first full year we accept donations. Transparency is the price of asking anyone to give.
Why we're waiting
We could start accepting donations today via a personal payment link — but they wouldn't be tax-deductible, and there'd be no legal separation between the foundation and its founder. Doing this right means doing the 501(c)(3) filing correctly the first time. Thanks for being patient with us.
